Everyone is concerned when criminal activity is undetected or when the law is enforced too harshly. Gord can respond to your suggestions and see that they are fed to the right people for effective action.

Social Services:

  • 1999 - 2001 Alberta Children's Services Social Care Facilities Review Committee. This committee visits all types of provincially funded social care facilities, providing Gord the hard facts behind many of the social care issues facing the city today.
  • "... Gord Lowe ran Calgary's air traffic control system for many years, steering a daily course between onrushing planes and ducking federal politicians. This makes him an ideal candidate to pilot Calgary's city budget. As a federal supervisor, he learned to write budgets in a high-pressure world for politicians who rarely knew what they wanted." Don Braid, Calgary Herald, Sunday, June 22, 2003.
